My name is Adora Mehitabel, I am a BA (Hons) Textiles for Fashion and Interiors undergraduate at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, specialising in Printed Textiles. This June I will be graduating and showcasing my final collection at New Designers. I have previous experience in a print design studio along with varied creative and design experience. I push the boundaries from what is comfortable towards new possibilities and innovations. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of design and making, with strong visual research skills and a comprehensive commercial awareness of seasonal fashion trends and understanding of textile properties.
I adore nature, blue skies and adventures. Here on my blog I share my creativity, thoughts, style, travel and thrifty finds. I love wearing vintage, going on long bicycle rides, travelling the world, capturing memories, crafting and designing away.
My practice focuses on bespoke crafted textiles by hand illustrating designs with precise and intricate attention to detail and expression of colour and texture. I further develop my print designs confidently in Adobe photoshop and Illustrator and then successfully transfer into beautiful printed textiles for both fashion and interiors. I bring passion to all my endeavours with a constant aim to develop my creativity and pursue my designing and printed textiles skills. I have a vision to embed craftsmanship from concept through to design and effectively produce unique textiles for a commercial market.
You can find more of my textiles work over on Arts thread and my CV on LinkedIn.
Thank you for stopping by, I always welcome commissions and open to new creative opportunities. I would love to hear from you, please feel free to get in touch by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lots of love Adora x x x
